I accept several portrait projects each year. All portraits are painted in oils, from photo references.

I prefer to take my own photos and work with the subject from the start. However, if this is not possible, I can work from candid, expressive photos which the client provides. 

No sittings are necessary - other than a brief photo session. Keep in mind that oil portraits take time to organize, execute . . . and dry.

Allow at least  4 months, from start to completion.
